Mr. Bassaw officially joined the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) at KNUST in September 2015. Prior to that, he worked as a teaching assistant in Human Anatomy and Physiology at KNUST and Christian Service University College (CSUC) during his national service period in 2013 after which he served as a personal assistant to the then Dean of Students of KNUST. He is currently part of the recruitment team and also handles travel and ICT related issues of both staff and scholars of the MCFSP in addition to other clerical duties.

In his spare time, he likes to play the bass guitar and listen to music.
