Mathel is an alumna of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2013. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from University of Education, Winneba in 2017.

Ms. Adusei is a Program Assistant in charge of Scholars Support Services at Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at KNUST.

She is a Christian of the Catholic denomination and worships at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Chaplaincy, KNUST- Kumasi.
